The philosophy behind our design is to use natural materials in the products we craft. Thus, our cat trees are made of solid wood and sisal rope.
The Cat Tree presented here is really heavy and solid contrary to wobbly ones.
The circular base is 4 cm (1.6") thick. Its diameter is 50 cm (19.7"). Your cat will surely not manage to tip this tower over while jumping onto it. You're right, it depends how big your cat is. If this is your main concern, contact me and I will share a movie of my cat using a similar cat tree.
This tower offers space and a scratching post for your cat. I made this cat tree of solid wood (the base, the pole, the top platform and the shelf) and sisal rope for a lot of scratching opportunities. Materials you can see in the pictures are natural ones so colours may slightly vary from item to item.
The cat tree is 88 cm (~34.6'') tall. Each of the two sections offers a 40 cm (~15.7'') long scratching post wrapped with 10 mm (~3/8'') thick sisal rope. Scratching post diameter is 10 cm (~3.9''). The top platform diameter is 37 cm (~14.6'').
